Help shape the future of public transit in Saskatoon - Two surveys open now!

Whether you use transit regularly or not, this service plays a vital role in the daily functioning of our city. It helps employees and customers reach businesses, eases traffic congestion, and contributes to a more connected and efficient urban environment. Like some public services, transit is funded in part through property taxes, reflecting its value to the entire community—not just those who ride it.

Saskatoon Transit has two opportunities for residents to give thoughtful feedback through value-based questions to help us define principles we will use to design our next bus network and our bus fare structure.

Take the bus network redesign survey

Saskatoon Transit is inviting residents to help shape the future of public transit by participating in the Bus Network Redesign Survey, the first phase of a comprehensive engagement process. The survey is now open and seeks input from transit customers and the broader community on what matters most when considering transit service.

We’re asking people who take transit or would like to take transit to tell us what they value most in a new reliable, connected transit system. The feedback we receive will guide our updated Service Standards and help us design a network that truly reflects the needs of our community.

Take the Transit fare review survey

Saskatoon and other transit agencies across North America are investigating ways to improve ridership, enhance service and adopt new technologies to modernize how fares are structured, while balancing revenue needs with affordability concerns.

The City of Saskatoon is asking everyone to share their priorities in the Transit Fare Review Survey to help design a new fare structure that reflects the values of the community.

Survey results for the Transit Fare Review will be included in a report to City Council in November 2025 during the budget deliberations.
