Access Transit offers a variety of options for residents with reduced mobility to provide everyone the freedom and independence to travel safely throughout the city.
Individuals who require a cane, walker, wheelchair or scooter are encouraged to use the low-floor buses on conventional Transit to allow for more spontaneous travel throughout the city.
Traveling on Access Transit during the COVID-19 pandemic
Fares are now being collected - as of June 8, 2020.
More direct trips are being scheduled when possible - maximum of 2 people per bus.
Drivers are equipped with disinfectant and wipe down touch points between passenger trips.
New buses are being sent out instead of having an operator pick up a bus already in service when possible.
