Folkfest
FREE Transit service during Folkfest: August 15-17, 2024
Explore culture and community with free, convenient service offered to riders who show their Folkfest ePassport, wristband or let their Transit Operator know they are headed to a Folkfest Pavilion when boarding.
Riders can access free service by transferring to the main Folkfest bus terminal on the south side of 23rd Street, facing east in front of the Francis Morrison Library. Free Transit service on Folkfest Route 150 starts 20 minutes before opening and runs to each pavilion every 20 minutes, with additional drop-offs at Market Mall.
Regular service on routes 1 and 19 to Prairieland Park is also available.
Folkfest Transit Service Hours
- Thursday, August 15 from 4:40 p.m. to 12:20 a.m.
- Friday, August 16 from 4:40 p.m. to 12:20 a.m.
- Saturday, August 17 from 2:40 p.m. to 12:20 a.m.
Bike & Bus
All buses are equipped with bike racks on the front of the buses that can hold two bicycles on a first-come, first-served basis. Bike racks can accommodate tires up to 2” wide.
Accessibility
Saskatoon Transit provides full accessibility for all riders through the use of low-floor buses. However, it is important to note that temporary Pavilion locations and stops may not be fully accessible.
