Service changes will be implemented on June 29, 2025, to Routes 8, 13, 16, 17, 18, 81, 82, 83, 84, 86, and 87 to deliver more reliable, connected, and direct service.

Whether you are a daily commuter, occasional rider, or interested in public transit developments, your participation is welcome.
On June 29, routing and service changes will take effect to enhance frequency and reliability, streamline the network, and provide improved connections to key destinations, including schools, hospitals, shopping centres, and the University.
The changes improve 8th Street delays and complex routes, creating a more connected transit system with combined routes for direct service, more frequency, and easier navigation.
Buses will arrive more frequently and on time, giving customers more travel options and reliability.
Route and Service Changes Overview
- Route 8: Modified fixed-route that is the sole route on 8th Street between the City Centre and Centre Mall.
- Route 10: New fixed-route that improve connection to the University, Taylor Street and Centre Mall.
- Routes 81 and 82 are removed and replaced by Route 10.
- Routes 16: Local route changes to improve speed and connections to City Centre, University and Market Mall.
- Service along 7th Street removed and replaced by service along Arlington Avenue and Main Street.
- Route 17: Expanded fixed-route service to provide north-south travel between Lawson Heights, the University, and Stonebridge.
- New evening and weekend service for Lawson Heights Mall Terminal.
- Route 13 is removed and replaced by expanded Route 17.
- Routes 18: Modified fixed-route through the University and schedule updates for timing and interlining.
- Route 18 interlines with route 83.
- Routes 83: Fixed-route schedule updates for timing and interlining to improve speed and connections to Stonebridge, Market Mall and Centre Mall.
- Route 83 interlines with Route 18.
- Routes 84: Local route changes and interlines to improve speed and connections to Centre Mall.
- Route 84 will not travel west of Centre Mall.
- Route 84 interlines with Route 86
- Routes 86: Local route changes and interlines to improve speed and connections to Centre Mall Terminal.
- Route 86 will not travel west of Centre Mall.
- Route 86 interlines with Route 84
- Routes 87: Local route changes and interlines to improve speed and connections to Centre Mall Terminal.
- Service along Pawlychenko Lane removed.
