Thursday, March 8th is International Women’s Day. Saskatoon Transit is celebrating by challenging internal staff, the City of Saskatoon and Transit organizations across Canada to celebrate the women in their organizations by starting a hashtag campaign using #SheShines.

To participate, take a picture of a female colleague (*confirm the photo subject consents to having their picture taken and posted (no names required)) and post to Twitter with the #SheShines hashtag and your workplace or personal Twitter handle (ex: @stoontransit).

The initiative is meant to support the global movement of advocacy, activism and support of gender parity. We are proud to publicly recognize the women in our organization who “shine.”
