City of Saskatoon will have adjusted hours & civic services on Monday, October 2
The City of Saskatoon will observe the stat for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, on Monday, October 2, 2023.
Civic services and hours of operation will be adjusted as follows:
CITY HALL
All Administrative Offices are closed on Monday, October 2, and will reopen Tuesday, October 3 at 8 a.m.
ROADWAY DETOURS & CLOSURES

REMAI MODERN
Remai Modern will be closed on Labour Day, Monday, October 2.
SASKATOON PUBLIC LIBRARY
All library locations will be closed on Saturday, September 30.
All library locations will be open on Monday, October 2.
SASKATOON TRANSIT
- Fixed route, OnDemand, Access and the Transit Customer Service Centre will be operating regular service hours on Saturday, September 30 and Monday, October 2.
PAY PARKING
- Parking payment is required on Saturday, September 30
- Parking payment is required on Monday, October 2
- Motorists are reminded that all parking requirements remain in effect, including parking time limits.
MUNICIPAL IMPOUND LOT
- Vehicles will be released to the public as usual on Saturday, September 30 and on Monday, October 2

WASTE COLLECTIONS
- Garbage (Black Cart) – Collections as scheduled
- Recycling (Blue Cart) – Collections as scheduled
- Organics (Green Cart) – Collections as scheduled

LANDFILL
- The Landfill is open over the long weekend from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Cash transactions are accepted, although Credit and Debit are recommended.

COMPOST DEPOTS
- The compost depots are open over the long weekend with normal operating hours.
- West Compost Depot – open 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- East Compost Depot – open Thursday to Monday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WOODLAWN CEMETERY
- The cemetery office is closed on Monday, October 2.
- Cemetery grounds are open to the public 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily as per usual.
SASKATOON FORESTRY FARM PARK & ZOO HOURS
Regular Hours of Operation:
- Zoo – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Forestry Farm Park - 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Zoo Gift Shop – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
