Service Changes – June 30, 2024

We’re on the move and making changes to improve reliability and connectivity.

Service changes will be implemented on June 30, 2024, to improve service in the Brighton, Rosewood, The Meadows, and Aspen Ridge neighbourhoods.

  • Brighton and The Meadows will transition from OnDemand service to fixed-route service.
  • Adjustments in Rosewood will expand residential service.
  • OnDemand service will be introduced to Aspen Ridge.

Route/service change Description & Impact Schedule
OnDemand Aspen Ridge Introduction of OnDemand Service in Aspen Ridge.

  • OnDemand service connects nine Aspen Ridge bus stops to hubs at Centennial Collegiate, St. Joseph High School, Nelson Road/Lowe Road, and Ludlow Street/Heath Avenue. 
  • Service runs from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting July 2 (excluding stat holidays).

Route 29 Brighton / Nelson Road New fixed-route service and schedule.
Previously OnDemand Brighton.

  • Route 29 connects Brighton to Nelson Road via Nelson Road and McOrmond Road.
  • 40-minute frequency from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • This route extends to Place Riel from fall to spring when the University of Saskatchewan is in full session.

Route 86 Rosewood / Centre Mall Adjusted fixed-route service and schedule to expand the residential service area. 

  • Route 86 connects Rosewood to Centre Mall through Wildwood, Lakewood, and throughout Rosewood.
  • Daytime service: 30-minute frequency, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Evening service: 60-minute frequency, 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.
  • This route will accommodate weekend and holiday service.

Route 87 The Meadows / Centre Mall New fixed-route service and schedule.
Previously OnDemand The Meadows.

  • Route 87 connects The Meadows to Centre Mall via Acadia Drive, Taylor Street, Pawlychenko Lane, and Meadows Boulevard to Market Drive
  • 30-minute frequency from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
